Egyptian authorities have arrested 13 Muslim Brotherhood members for allegedly planting bombs around the Suez Canal according to security sources from Reuters.
Prosecutors said that the 13 men had planted bombs in sanitation and electricity facilities as well as on beaches and ordered that they be detained for 15 days.
The arrests, which were made yesterday (6 June), come exactly one month before the new Suez Canal is scheduled to open.
