Eight new machines at Grup TCB’s Turkish terminal

Grup TCB’s container terminal, TCEEGE, located in Nemrut Bay in Izmir, Turkey, has incorporated eight new pieces of equipment in its facilities.

The new machines comprise a reachstacker, an empty container handler and six platforms in an effort to optimise loading and unloading operations for ships.

With the new reach stacker, TCEEGE is looking to improve its operational capacity to increase the stowage of containers up to five high and three horizontal rows. The technical equipment allows it to optimise fuel consumption and meet the stringent emissions standards in force in Turkey.
