French shipping company CMA CGM has taken delivery of the second of three vessels which will be added to its service between North Europe and Latin America.
The 2,100 teu capacity CMA CGM Marseille and two other vessels will be added to the fleet sailing between Algeciras, Rotterdam, Tilbury, Rouen, Le Havre, Philipsburg, Port of Spain, Degrad des Cannes, Belem, Fortaleza, Natal and Algeciras.
The vessel is 190 m long, 30 m wide, has space for 530 reefer containers and was built at the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea, although it will sail under the British flag. The third vessel in this series, the CMA CGM Saint Laurent, will be delivered in September.
