PD Ports buys three new RTGs for Teesport
PD Ports has ordered three new rubber tyre gantry cranes (RTGs) for Teesport as part of its £60m (US$94m) investment in the port over the past five years.
The UK company bought the specialist cranes for the port in the North of the UK from Irish equipment manufacturer Liebherr Container Cranes.
David Robinson, PD Ports’ Group CEO, said that the “new cranes signify the next step in the Port’s development.”
