Strike hits Chennai International Terminals
Quay crane and rubber-tyred gantry crane operators have gone on strike at PSA-operated Chennai International Terminal.
As of September 23, productivity was around 15 to 20 moves per hour, according to a customer advisory from NYK Line.
The strike was called because the terminal operator is training management staff to operate the cranes. Negotiations are ongoing between the two sides.
