DP World has announced that it has acquired the remaining 49% stake in DP World Southampton terminal from Associated British Ports (ABP) and extended its licence at the facility for a further 25 years.
The company, which extended its licence agreement in the terminal until 2047, is now the sole owner of the facility.
Prior to the latest announcement, the terminal was a joint venture between DP World, which owned a 51% stake, and ABP, which owned the remaining 49%.
