ZPMC has ordered electrical control and automation systems for 30 automatic stacking cranes (ASCs) from Virginia-based TMEIC Corporation.
TMEIC Corporation, which is an overseas affiliated company of the Tokyo-headquartered Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corporation (TMEIC), will supply the ASCs to Yangshan Deepwater Port, which is part of the Port of Shanghai.
The cranes, which use TMdrive-10e2 variable frequency drives as part of the MaxSpeed advanced crane control system platform, feature both MaxView optical guidance systems and the CraneDirector system, which coordinates the interface with the Terminal Operating System (TOS).
