The prime minister of Iceland and the deputy prime minister of Singapore were among the speakers at the Arctic Circle Singapore Forum yesterday.
Iceland’s Prime Minister Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson told the conference that the development of the Northern Shipping Route must be coordinated.
“We need for this part of the planet, a coordinated global effort of where the necessary infrastructure is going to be built and executed,” he said to the Arctic Circle Singapore Forum.
