Oslo receives ‘quiet’ and ‘camouflaged’ STS cranes
The Port of Oslo has received two ship-to-shore (STS) cranes from Konecranes for its Oslo Sjursoya container terminal.
Konecranes claimed in a statement that the cranes are “probably the most silent and eco-efficient STS cranes in the world”.
On top of this, the cranes have been painted with a specially designed colour scheme so that they blend in with the surrounding seashore and landscape.
