US rail company orders 60 Kalmar terminal tractors
Kalmar has announced that it has received an order for 60 Ottawa T2 off-highway terminal tractors from US railway consultancy Rail Management Services.
The 60 new terminal tractors will join the 100 Ottawa units that the US company has purchased over the past three years.
According to Kalmar, the tractors are characterised by a driver focused design, an ergonomic cabin, improved powertrain efficiency and modular construction, features which reduce the lifetime cost of ownership.
