Bolloré offices raided over African port deals

The Bollore Tower in Paris was raided by authorities

French investigators searched the headquarters of the Bolloré Group on April 8, 2016 to examine how the company won concessions at several African ports.

Prosecutors are looking into whether there is a relationship between Bolloré and Francis Perez, the president of the Pefaco Group, which runs casinos and hotels in Africa and who has been under investigation by the French financial crimes unit for four years.

Specifically, prosecutors want to know whether Perez helped Bolloré win a concession for the port of Conakry in Guinea in 2011 and for the port of Lomé in Togo in 2010.
