COSCO Pacific acquires stake in Rotterdam terminal
COSCO Pacific has agreed to purchase a 35% equity interest in the Hutchison-owned Euromax Terminal Rotterdam for €41.4m (US$46.8m).
Euromax, which is located at the area of Maasvlakte I of Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, is an automatic container terminal which commenced operations in mid-2010.
The total area including Phase 1 and Phase 2 is 1.21 m sq metres with a total quay length of 1,800 m and a draft depth of 16.65 m.
