Yang Ming appoints Evergreen’s Bronson Hsieh as its chairman

Taiwanese carrier Yang Ming Transport Corporation has appointed Evergreen’s former vice chairman Chih-Chien Hsieh as its new chairman.

Hsieh, who is also known as Bronson Hsieh, succeeded Frank Lu, who held the position of chairman at Yang Ming since 2003.

Hsieh left Evergreen in March 2016 amid a succession battle between the children of the company’s late chairman, Chang Yung-fa, who died in January this year.
