Terex has reported a US$39m loss in its material handling & port solutions (MHPS) segment in the second quarter of 2016.
As the segment is currently pending sale to Konecranes, it is now accounted for as a ‘discontinued operation’ and so a further breakdown of the segment’s performance was unavailable.
Terex’s CEO John Garrison said: “Our second quarter results reflect a company in transition. With the pending sale of our MHPS business and parts of our construction portfolio, we made several structural changes in the quarter.”
