LA’s Pier 400 raises crane heights
APM Terminals Pier 400 has begun raising the heights of ten ship-to-shore cranes.
The Los Angeles terminal is increasing the cranes’ height by 10 m, making them the tallest port cranes in North America according to APMT.
The first of these cranes has now been heightened will be ready for vessel operations in the next few months.
