CMA CGM group’s short sea shipping specialists Oldenburg-Portugiesische Dampfschiffs-Rhederei (OPDR) and Spanish shipping and logistics company Boluda Lines have agreed to start a strategic alliance on the Canary Islands service.
The companies claimed in a statement the new alliance will offer the fastest transit times linking Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and La Palma to the ports of Hamburg, Rotterdam and Tilbury.
Lanzarote and La Palma are linked to Tilbury, Rotterdam and Hamburg in respectively eight, nine and ten days, with Lanzarote being called twice a week and La Palma once.
