The port of Paranagua has doubled its capacity to receive trucks by inaugurating three new entrance gates.
The port administration as part of a R$5.3m (US$1.6m) investment in the port, which hosts the Paranagua Container Terminal (TCP).
The investment also includes new offices and four new automatic scales to weigh vehicles, in the wake of the new mandatory container weighing regulations.
