Volvo Group’s engines manufacturing subsidiary Volvo Penta of the Americas has announced that it will supply its EPA Tier 4 Final engines to US-based terminal trucks supplier Capacity Trucks for its Sabre terminal tractors line.
Volvo Penta’s 214 hp engine is set to be deployed at the US Port of Long Beach, while the company’s lower power 173 hp unit will be operated at several warehouse and distribution centres.
According to the agreement, Capacity is expected to offer the company’s Tier 4F engines as a standard option across its full line of Sabre trucks starting from early next year.
