Adani to begin Ennore operations

Adani Ports will begin operations at the start of 2017 at its new container terminal at Ennore Port (also known as Kamarajar Port), offering a new option for cargo near the Port of Chennai.

An official from the terminal operator told Indian newspaper The Hindu: “95% of infrastructure work has been completed. Work relating to small accessories and installation of entry and exit gates, parking yard and railway platform terminal is going on.

“These are expected to be completed within a month. However, operations will commence after December.”
