Konecranes looks set to receive an order for 86 automated stacking cranes (ASCs) from the Virginia Port Authority (VPA).
The value of the contracts will exceed €200m (US$218m), making it the biggest order in the company’s history.
The deal depends on approval by the VPA’s board of commissioners at its meeting on November 15, 2016 and upon the two companies coming to agreement on final contract terms.
