US-based terminal operating system (TOS) provider Navis N4 system has gone live at the Port of Beira, Mozambique.
According to a company statement, Cornelder de Moçambique (CdM), which operates the port’s container and general cargo terminals, decided to replace its existing TOS as it was unable to support the facilities’ future business requirements, including automation and business intelligence.
The new purchase is part of a series of investments carried out by the company in both equipment and IT over the past decade to improve the terminal’s productivity and efficiency.
