Quetzal container termimal to start operations in March
APM Terminals (APMT)’s container facility in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala, is scheduled to start operations on March 9, 2017.
Terminal de Contenedores Quetzal (TCQ), which APMT obtained the concession to operate through the acquisition of Grup TCB last year, is set to start its operations by handling Maersk’s 2,546 teu vessel Sealand Balboa, according to a customer advisory.
A statement by Maersk noted that “the transfer of activities between the terminals” was already initiated.
