Maersk Line has introduced two new services to run on the 2M alliance network it operates with the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC).
The carrier’s AE7 and TP16 services are expected to allow Maersk Line and MSC to accommodate the volumes coming from the slot purchase agreements with Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) and Hamburg Süd.
Under the recently announced agreements, the latter two companies will move cargo but will not operate vessels in the 2M network.
