Kalmar opens new jetty in China
Finnish equipment manufacturer Kalmar and Rainbow-Cargotec Industries Co., Ltd (RCI) have opened a new jetty in Taicang, China.
The new jetty, which will allow delivery of fully erected Kalmar yard cranes from RCI, is 361 m long with a water depth of 12 m.
The jetty, which will support Kalmar’s business growth in the Asia-Pacific region, will be able to berth ships with a capacity of up to 50,000 DWT.
