The American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) has appointed Florida’s Port Everglades’ CEO as chairman of its board starting from October 2017.
Steve Cernak, who is also Port Everglades port director, will serve as chairman of the AAPA’s board for one-year term during the 2017/18 activity year.
Cernak will assume the role currently held by Port of Pascagoula port director’s Mark McAndrews, who began his one-year term on October 26, 2016.
