The presidents of the Port of Santos and the Port of Lisbon signed a cooperation agreement at Intermodal South America in São Paulo.
Alex Oliva, president of the Port of Santos, also known as CODESP, told CM that he hoped the agreement would reap benefits in terms of information transfers between the two ports.
“Santos is starting to get ahead of other ports in Brazil and South America in terms of vessel traffic management information systems, which is vital for security in ports,” he said.
