Konecranes receives RTGs order from the Cayman Islands
Konecranes has signed an agreement with the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands for the delivery of two Boxhunter rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes.
The new units, which will be the first Boxhunter RTGs to be operated in the Caribbean, will be delivered to the Port of George Town in mid-2018.
The cranes will be used for container handling at an inland terminal located a few km from the sea port.
