Tideworks announces new president

Thomas Rucker, president of Tideworks Technology

Terminal operating system (TOS) provider Tideworks Technology has appointed Thomas J (TJ) Rucker as president effective from September 2017, once Michael Schwank retires from the post.

Rucker is currently vice president of operations at Panama’s Manzanillo International Terminal (MIT), where he is responsible for managing liner customer relationships, strategic planning and ensuring terminal productivity and key performance indicator (KPI) performance.

Knud Stubkjaer, CEO of Carrix, Inc., the parent company of SSA Marine, Tideworks Technology and Rail Management Services. “Michael’s steadfast guidance over the years has been instrumental in shaping Tideworks to be the force for intelligent technology and operations efficiency.”
