A ship which ran aground on the banks of the River Scheldt, blocking access to the Port of Antwerp, has now been moved.
Ocean traffic to and from the Port of Antwerp was halted after a 14,000 teu vessel ran aground but it was successfully moved on the evening of August 14.
The Western Scheldt had been closed to larger ships before the CSCL Jupiter is moved, with several unsuccessful initial attempts to re-float the vessel.
