Trapac goes live with Tideworks’ Spinnaker at its LA rail terminal
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines subsidiary TraPac LLC, has successfully gone live with Tideworks Technology’s Spinnaker Planning Management solution at its container terminal in the Port of Los Angeles.
Deployed to support its automation of on-dock rail operations, Spinnaker integrated with TraPac’s existing systems to effectively manage increasing rail volumes and support automated rail operations for both eastbound and westbound trains at the terminal.
The system enables TraPac to leverage key Spinnaker features including graphical planning, pre-arrival visibility, rail schedules, drag and drop ramp assignment, container and railcar history, track layout, railcar and container queries, graphical cone management, and customisable auto-plan rule validations and user access controls.
