The Port of Beira has inaugurated a new five-lane access road, according to local press.
The management of the Mozambican port has invested US$6.2m in the construction of this new access road and in increasing the terminal’s yard capacity.
The managing director of the terminal’s operator Cornelder e Moçambique, Jan de Vries, said that the company plans to increase the capacity of the terminal to 700,000 teu in the coming years.
