Cavotec supplies record-breaking cranes
Cavotec has provided cable reels for ship-to-shore (STS) cranes which have the highest lifting distance of any such cranes in the world.
The cable reels provide electrical power for the ZPMC STS cranes at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia.
As well as having the world’s highest lifting distance, these cranes are the second tallest in the world after DP World’s ZPMC STS cranes in Dubai.
