Three super post-Panamax quay cranes and eight electric rubber-tyred gantry cranes have arrived at Terminal D in the Thai port of Laem Chabang.
Remote control technology has been installed on all the cranes and the terminal, which is run by Hutchison Ports, will be the first terminal in Thailand with remote-control cranes.
According to Hutchison Ports, these cranes will play a crucial part of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) project under the Thailand 4.0 scheme.
