CMA CGM, COSCO and Evergreen have launched three new combined services between Asia, Mexico and the west coast of South America as the shake-up of the region’s dynamics gathers pace following Maersk’s acquisition of Hamburg Sud.
According to the French carrier, the new offer, which begins on April 4, 2018, will provide expanded port coverage: ten ports in Asia, three ports in Mexico and four ports among the largest of the west coast of South America.
It added that the sailings will also reduce transit times, a strategic asset for customers, especially producers of perishable goods and fresh fruits.
