Strong volume growth boosts PSA’s financials

PSA International handled 74.24m teu across its global portfolio last year, representing an increase of 9.8% from the previous year and helping to drive positive financial results.

Throughout at its flagship facilities in Singapore increased by 9% to 33.35m teu, while volumes at its terminals outside Singapore reached 40.89m teu, representing double-digit growth of 10.4%.

PSA Group revenue rose by 7.8% and profit from operations grew by 5%, with overall net profit for 2017 rising by 5.1% to SG$1.23bn.
