Abu Dhabi Ports opens container freight station
Abu Dhabi Ports has opened a new freight station in the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) to transfer metal into containers before they are exported.
The operator opened the facility in partnership with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) to reduce the aluminium producer’s trucking.
Abdulla Kalban, EGA’s managing director and CEO, said: “We are always looking for ways to improve our efficiency, saving costs and protecting the environment.
