Malta Freeport orders 15 Konecranes RTGs
Malta Freeport Terminals has ordered 15 rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes from Konecranes as part of its expansion.
The first cranes will be delivered at the end of 2018 and the rest during spring of 2019. The order was booked at the end of 2017.
The port, which is the third largest transhipment hub in the Mediterranean, currently operates a fleet of 50 Konecranes RTGs.
