Puerto Rican terminal signs deal with Navis

Puerto Rico’s Luis Ayala Colón terminal will integrate Navis’ terminal operating software (TOS), N4, after signing a partnership with the American software company.

The terminal’s operations have been hindered since Hurricane Maria, which severely damaged Puerto Rico’s infrastructure in 2017, and the operator has chosen N4 to overcome these challenges as well to improve daily operations.

Hernan Ayala-Parsi, president of Luis Ayala Colón terminal, said: “With Navis we will continue to use the best software available, which can be customized for our terminal and operations needs to enhance service to our customers – both the container lines, and ultimately, the cargo originators, receivers and their respective truckers.”
