DP World subsidiary to create logistics community system in Dominican Republic
A new electronic trade portal has been launched by Dubai Trade World (DT World), a subsidiary of DP World.
DT World will provide its ‘Mawani’ system, which connects logistics services onto one platform, as well as management and consultancy services to DR Trade – a new joint venture formed by DP World Caucedo and the Haina International Terminal.
DT World chief operating officer, Mahmood Al Bastaki, said: “The new portal will offer a single online window for the Dominican Republic’s traders operating across the supply chain, using a proven and streamlined flow of services designed around their needs.
