TGI Maritime Software has launched two complementary modules allowing yard optimisation and hazardous container management in a secure way.
The hazardous management module has been developed to manage and set entry, allotment, berth and stacking prohibitions.
It also manages maximum plane height constraints and storage restrictions.
Users can also visualise and configure segregation distances between hazardous containers, configurable from two sets, IMCO Class and Equipment Family.
Segregation distance calculations require the visualisation of containers in a yard at scale and in real time, which is why the yard module “completes” the hazardous management module according to TGI.
Users can access a top-down view of the yard with graphic views of the stacks, bays and spans, containing information on containers.
The yard map provides the container location, the complete history of container movements, stacks and spans details and information on devices’ assignments.
Users can search a container or list of containers using a multi-criteria form.
Data extraction can be done via Microsoft Excel or graphically while users can also access the occupation rate of each yard zone.
The yard module provides the visualisation of current and on-hold missions via a dashboard.
With this table, users can modify destination allotments, delete or reassign a mission form from one piece of equipment to another.
It is also possible to change the priority of missions, block or unlock them, or to change their status.
