Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) saw container throughput growth of 1.2% in the first half of 2018, mainly driven by a 4.1% increase in Asia traffic.
Container segment revenue rose by 2.2% to €380m (US$432m) outstripping throughput growth due to a lower feeder ratio.
Group revenue increased by 1.6% while the group operating result (EBIT) rose by 1.1%, owing to improvements in both the port logistics and real estate subgroups.
