The Port of Rotterdam Authority is investing €75m in the Port of Pecém in Northeast Brazil in return for a 30% stake.
The Dutch port will have joint control of strategic decisions and positions at executive board, supervisory board and management level.
Ceará state and the port authority are expected to sign an agreement in September 2018 while the following months will be used to further finalise the participation.
