CMA CGM acquires transport and logistics company Containerships
CMA CGM has completed its acquisition of container transportation and logistics company Containerships, strengthening its position in intra-European transportation.
The Finnish company complements the Marseilles-based firm as it offers services and logistics solutions through sea, road, rail and barge in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean.
With the addition of Containerships’ 690 employees, the carrier’s intra-European customers will now benefit from the expertise of 2,700 employees located in 130 offices.
