Hamburg Süd resumes seasonal mango and grape service
Hamburg Süd has resumed its weekly direct service between Peru and the US East Coast in time for the forthcoming mango and grape season in South America.
The service will be operational from November 2018 to February 2019, with a transit time of 11 days from the Port of Paita, Peru, to Philadelphia.
According to the carrier, the fast transit time and its fleet of state-of-the-art reefer equipment caters toward the strong demand for these fruits in the US market.
