Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals (BMCT), a subsidiary of PSA International (PSA), has set a record of 175 moves per hour while working on Hapag-Lloyd’s 9,954 teu capacity M.V Athenian.
The facility accomplished this two months after it achieved 155 moves per hour and it has now surpassed PSA India’s previous record of 169 moves per hour, held by its terminal in Chennai.
The M.V Athenian departed from the terminal on December 2 after the BMCT handled 3,532 moves in just over 20 hours of operations.
