King Abdullah Port has secured its position as the second largest container port in Saudi Arabia as annual throughput rose to 2,301,595 by the end of 2018, an increase of over 36% year-on-year.
Since it began operations in the last quarter of 2013, the number of containers handled by the port has reached a total of 7,227,859 teu.
