Massport to receive four RTGs from Konecranes
Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) will take delivery of four Konecranes rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes this year to be used at Conley Terminal in Boston.
Massport will operate the four machines by the end of 2019, which will give the operator a told of 12 Konecranes RTGs. The order was booked last year.
The units on order are 16-wheel machines lifting 40 tonne containers one-over-five, at six container rows wide plus truck lane.
