Throughput at the French ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris increased by 4% in the first five months of 2019, according to new figures released by the operator HAROPA.
The rise was because of increasing traffic at Le Havre in both the gateway and transhipment areas, HAROPA said.
The vast majority of HAROPA’s throughput is handled at the coastal container port of Le Havre with a much smaller number of containers handled at the river ports of Rouen and Paris.
