CSP Iberian Bilbao Terminal opens expanded railway terminal

CSP Iberian Bilbao Terminal has opened its renewed and expanded railway terminal, marking the completion of a total 28 months of work.

The expansion lengthened all four tracks by 100 m, reaching 550 m, enlarging the storage area from 13,950 to 41,800 sq m, and prepared a stacking area next to the tracks with a daily capacity 3,000 teu.

With the new installations, the capacity of the railway terminal has increased by 180,000 teu – in 2018, CSP Iberian Bilboa operated 2,900 trains in its railway terminal and moved a total of 147,000 teu.
