The Port of Oakland has recorded a 20% growth in refrigerated export volume, reinforcing its position as the largest exporter of refrigerated cargo in containers among US ports.
From August 2018 to July 2019, the port handled 119,756 teu of refrigerated exports – up from 99,740 in the same period a year ago.
John Driscoll, Port of Oakland’s maritime director, said: “Our business partners are investing to meet increased overseas demand for US farm goods.
